SNC extended office hours returning this summer

22-May-2015 22-May-2015

Returning May 21, the South Nation Conservation (SNC) headquarters office in Finch will remain open Thursdays until 7 p.m. to provide clients seeking permits and approvals with an extended service option.

Last year, the Board of Directors decided on the late opening, and with last year’s success, extended office hours will be offered once again until Thanksgiving.

“With the greater demand for permits and approvals handled by SNC staff, in the spring, summer and early fall, the extended hours help provide residents with effective customer service” explained Carl Bickerdike, Acting Team Lead, Corporate Services.

SNC is also working with our municipal partners to arrange for staff to be available once a month at municipal offices. This will give clients an option of submitting applications or meeting to discuss projects closer to their home instead of having to drive to SNC’s headquarters in Finch. Applicants can contact us to find out more about this option.

“We can use this opportunity to monitor key issues and better serve the public and development community. Today’s technology lets us efficiently screen applications from anywhere.”

During our late night Thursday’s, residents can also pick up information on SNC programs or book events in the SNC meeting rooms.

Fully equipped and featuring state-of-the-art technology, the comfortable rooms are available free of charge for not-for-profit groups. To book a room, call 1-877-984-2948 or contact info@nation.on.ca.
