Weather Forecast:
Significant rainfall of 20 to 30 mm is forecasted for December 14th.

Environmental Conditions:
Water levels across the jurisdiction are normal for this time of year. Currently soils are saturated or partly frozen with minimal amounts of snow cover across the jurisdiction.

Risks:
Rainfall is likely to produce high water levels and possible nuisance flooding in low-lying areas across the jurisdiction.

ACTION:
Residents are advised to exercise caution when near rivers as the forecasted weather may rapidly increase river flows and cause slippery river banks. Parents are encouraged to explain these dangers to their children.

Duration:
This statement is in effect until Tuesday, December 17th, 2019.
