SNC staff and volunteers will be undertaking an invasive species removal project in the Leitrim Wetland. Glossy Buckthorn has been identified in the area and is posing a major threat to sensitive parts of the wetland. With the help of volunteers, SNC is hoping to remove buckthorn in strategic locations as part of an on-going stewardship initiative. A map is provided below for the meeting location. We will be meeting at 10 at the entrance to the Findlay Creek boardwalk located on Findlay Creek Drive.

Volunteers will be supplied gloves and water. It is advised to bring suitable clothing for working outdoors. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
