SNC’s AGM Taking Place on February 17

South Nation Conservation’s (SNC) Board of Directors Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be taking place on Friday, February 17, 2017.  As with all SNC Board meetings, the public is welcome to attend the meeting.

“This year’s AGM will recognize SNC’s 70th Anniversary of watershed management and leadership in supplying sustainable services,” says John Mesman, SNC Team Lead, Communications.  “The AGM will include a special historical presentation featuring SNC’s 70 years of environmental success and organizational growth.”

The meeting will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon taking place at SNC’s Administration Office, 38 Victoria Street in Finch, ON.

The celebration will recognize Friends of SNC and SNC’s General Manager/Treasurer-Secretary, Dennis O’Grady, will be recognized for his 30 years of leadership.

Monthly events are planned throughout 2017 to celebrate SNC’s 70 years of conservation.  “Over 40 visitors helped kick-off the celebrations on January 28 with a snowshoe hike at the Warwick Forest Conservation Area,” said Mesman.  SNC treated visitors with free snowshoe rentals and hot chocolate to warm up after their hike on the Forest’s interpretive trail.
