South Nation Conservation (SNC) has published its 2018 Annual Report, available online and at the Conservation Authority’s head office in Finch.

Released annually in English and French, this summary document showcases SNC’s programs, services and accomplishments from the preceding year.

The Annual Report also provides local residents and partners from across SNC’s 4,384 square-kilometer jurisdiction in Eastern Ontario with updates on: community projects, tree planting statistics, SNC’s 14 day-use Conservation Areas, and forestry and
stewardship initiatives.

“Last year marked new achievements and milestones for SNC, which are proudly outlined in our 2018 Annual Report,” says Angela Coleman, SNC’s General Manager. “The report is a great way to share information with residents within our 16 member municipalities of the work that we do in their communities to protect people, property and the environment.”

SNC Chairman Bill Smirle adds, “the annual success is thanks to the dedication and commitment of our Board of Directors and staff, and to the long-standing local partnerships that have enabled us to protect and enhance the local environment.”
