SNC Extended Office Hours Returning May 19

13-May-2016 13-May-2016

Returning May 19, the South Nation Conservation (SNC) administration office in Finch will remain open Thursdays until 7 p.m. to provide clients seeking permits and approvals with an extended service option.

For the past two years, extended office hours will continue beginning the May long-weekend until Thanksgiving.

“With the greater demand for permits and approvals handled by SNC staff, in the spring, summer and early fall, the extended hours help provide residents with effective customer service” explained Carl Bickerdike, Acting Team Lead, Corporate Services.

SNC continues to support our municipal partners by arranging for staff to be available once a month at municipal offices. This will give clients an option of submitting applications or meeting to discuss projects closer to their home instead of having to drive to SNC’s headquarters in Finch. Applicants can contact us to find out more about this option.

“We can use this opportunity to monitor key issues and better serve the public and development community. Today’s technology lets us efficiently screen applications from anywhere,” says Bickerdike.

During our late night Thursday’s, residents can also pick up information on SNC programs or book events in the SNC meeting rooms.

Fully equipped and featuring state-of-the-art technology, the comfortable rooms are available free of charge for not-for-profit groups. To book a room, call 1-877-984-2948 or contact info@nation.on.ca.
