SNC is hosting an ICE Training Event in partnership with the Ottawa Catholic District School Board for Environmental Specialist High Skills Majors from Notre Dame High School, and Energy Specialist High Skills Majors from Mother Theresa High School. ICE training will take place in the Findlay Creek Community and will focus on the importance of green infrastructure (Leitrim Wetland) within an urban environment.

 9:30 am Arrival at Diamond Jubilee Park, White Alder Avenue, Gloucester 

 9:45 am Introductions/Introduction to ICE/Background info on watershed, SNC, Leitrim wetland

10:30 am Tour of Leitrim wetland (Boardwalk), monitoring demonstration

11:30 am Lunch

12:00 pm Planting of riparian area (Kelly Farm Drive and Helen Rapp Way, Findlay Creek)

1:00 pm Introduction to challenge 

1:30 pm Departure
