South Nation Conservation has completed draft, regulation mapping along Cassidy Creek from the 8th Line Road and Pana Road intersection to the confluence at the Middle Castor River; Greys Creek from Mitch Owens Road to Snake Island Road; and McCooeye Creek from the intersection of John Quinn Road and Cooper Hill Road to the 8th Line Road and Pana Road intersection.
Under Ontario Regulation 170/06 Development, interference with Wetlands and Alteration to Shorelines and Watercourses, the project identifies flood hazard areas. The public is encouraged to attend the open house and provide comments on the draft mapping completed for Cassidy, Greys, and McCooeye Creeks.
