WHO:   South Nation Conservation (SNC)

WHAT:  SNC is pleased to host media for an opportunity to tour the Riverside Heights project location by boat. This boat tour is a follow up to the tree planting and sign unveiling, as part of the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal’s Port of Johnstown wharf expansion project  that began in 2009; approximately 22,000 square metres of fish habitat was created that provides important wetland habitat for a variety of species. The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne and SNC were environmental consultants on the project. The land is owned by the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, in the Township of South Dundas.
