Order Your Trees
The South Nation Conservation tree planting program is taking orders for the 2012 tree planting season. Landowners may order a minimum of 100 seedlings (increments of 50 seedling per species). Ministry of Natural Resources funding is now available through Trees Ontario for planting larger block planting sites. Landowners with 2.5 acre parcels of land can qualify for this funding through SNC, the local program delivery agent. Check the updated 2012 order form for available species and prices. SNC is already starting a contact list for landowners interested in spring 2012 planting projects. Landowners can check the Trees Ontario site for details about MNR funding through their 50 Million Tree Program.
