For many years, South Nation Conservation (SNC) has helped thousands of people with expert forestry advice on tree planting, woodlot management, and greening the local community.  Forests play a key role in the water cycle and in maintaining water quality and quantity. They filter pollutants out of the air and water and regulate water distribution. Water held by the forest floor localizes flooding and increases summer flows downstream. Forested areas have clearer streams, more abundant wildlife and less erosion.
