Private Sewage Systems

Private Sewage System Permit Request

South Nation Conservation is responsible for issuing certificates of approval, permits and services related to severance, land development, leach fields, as well as inspections of private sewage systems. Privately owned sewage systems, including cesspools, septic tanks and leach fields must be installed and maintained according to the Ontario Building Code. Under this code, permits and inspections are required to install or alter a private sewage system.
