Hydro One, SNC Partner For 16,000 Trees For MacLeod Property

A partnership with Hydro One and Trees Ontario has enabled South Nation Conservation to plant 16,000 trees on a property in Berwick donated by the MacLeod family.  The project was made possible through a $7,200 contribution from Hydro One’s ‘Tree For Tree Program’.  Pictured from left, Ed Kupczyk, Senior Forestry Technician (kneeling); Dennis O’Grady, SNC General Manager; Adam Zulinski, Trees Ontario;  Jeff Johnston, Hydro One; Lawrence Levere, SNC Board Chair; Tammy McRae, SNC Board member and North Stormont Councillor; and Ian Mitchell, member of the SNC Communications Committee.  The project, which coincides with the International Year of Forests, demonstrates the leading role SNC plays in local sustainable forest management.
